The Hermitage is the remotest country house on the Isle of Wight. The quiet location, surrounded by trees at the top of St Catherines Down at the southern point of the Island makes the ideal retreat for those wanting a restful break. All rooms are ensuite and are furnished with antique furniture and ornate beds. The hermitage is a private house offering bed and breakfast accommodation in a relaxed informal atmosphere. |

| All four rooms feature fully restored antique beds. The louis XV style bed with ornate headboard, Henri II style bed with gilded decoration, Victorian half tester with side drapes and Irish Regency Four Poster. Rooms also have antique furniture, remote control televisions with teletext, tea and coffee making, clock radios and hair dryers. Central heating plus convection heaters. Ensuite bathrooms with heated towell rails. Guests have full use of attractive drawing room and patio and run of the gardens and grounds. Sorry no smoking, children or pets. |
