The Bargeman`s Rest is a new conversion of a Victorian warehouse, offering a superb riverside location on historic Newport Quay with an extensive terrace and balcony overlooking the water. It has a traditional interior with an extensive collection of nautical artifacts and memorabilea and offers a large menu, including fresh crab and lobster and an extensive wine list. Live traditional music is on offer 5 nights a week. |

Function Rooms: The Sail Loft seats 100 with its own bar and private balcony for receptions, meetings etc. The Captain`s Cabin seats 40 for conferences, seminars etc. No pub games, No TV, No pop music. |
